Privacy Policy
The short version. There is no account and no sign-up. Your saved game lives on your own device and is never uploaded. Three things can leave your device, and you control two of them: a display name and score, only if you switch the global leaderboard on; a notification token, only if you allow notifications; and ad requests handled by Google AdMob. We never ask for your email address, phone number, or real name.

What we do not collect
- No account or sign-up. No email address, phone number, or real name — the leaderboard name is whatever you type, and you are free to type anything.
- No contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise GPS location.
- No payment information. There are no in-app purchases.
- Your save file — money, stats, holdings, relationships — is stored in your device's local storage and is never sent to us. Deleting the app or clearing site data erases it permanently, and we cannot recover it.

We do not sell your data, and we do not combine it with data from anywhere else.
The global leaderboard
The leaderboard is off unless you turn it on. You choose on the first screen, and you can change your mind at any time from the in-game menu.
- While it is off, nothing about your run leaves your device. You can still look at the board.
- While it is on, we receive the name you typed, your score, the in-game year you reached, and a random ID your device generated so the same player is not counted twice. That is the whole list.
- Turning it off in the menu deletes your entry from our server, including entries from earlier runs. You do not have to write to us to be removed.
- The name is public by design — other players see it. Please do not type anything you would not want strangers to read.
Advertising
Ads are served by Google AdMob. Watching a rewarded video is always optional and gives an in-game benefit only; nothing in this game costs or pays real money.
- On iPhone and iPad we do not track you. The app does not ask for the advertising identifier and does not show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, because it has nothing to ask for. Ads there are non-personalised — chosen without any profile of you.
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent form appears before ads load. You can change that choice later from the in-game menu.
- You can reset or disable your advertising ID in iOS Settings (Privacy & Security → Tracking) or Android Settings (Privacy → Ads).

Notifications
If you allow notifications, your device gives us an anonymous push token. We store that token, the platform (iOS or Android), and your time zone, so a reminder arrives in the evening where you are rather than in the middle of the night. The token is not tied to a name or an email address. Turning notifications off in your device settings stops them; write to us and we will delete the token.
The web version
Playing in a browser at shouldabought.seizemode.com stores your save in that browser's local storage. The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The server records ordinary web request logs (IP address, time, page requested) for a short period to keep the service running and to block abuse.
Children
This game is not directed at children. It portrays investing, gambling and dating, and it is rated accordingly on each store. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, write to us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Because we hold no account and no personal profile, there is usually nothing of yours for us to look up. If you have allowed notifications and want the token deleted, or you have any other request under the GDPR, the CCPA, or Korea's PIPA, email support@seizemode.com and we will act within 30 days.

Prices, events and companies in this game are reconstructed from public history for entertainment. Nothing in the app is investment advice, an offer, or a solicitation, and past performance of any real security says nothing about its future.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and note it in the app.
